Bobby Schneider, CFP®, is a Wealth Management Advisor at C.I.G. Private Wealth Management. After graduating with his BS in Finance from the University of Connecticut, Bobby became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, obtained his Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, and his Life and Health insurance license. His passion for educating and helping people succeed drives everything he does – for both his clients and his own professional development.

Bobby grew up on a horse farm in South Glastonbury, Connecticut, where he learned the importance of hard work at a young age –a lesson he still values today. He still lives in his hometown and enjoys rock climbing, running, and playing tennis in his free time.

What do you think C.I.G. Private Wealth Management can best help clients with?

I think what makes us stand out from other wealth management teams is the level of trust we build with all our clients. We truly believe in giving them confidence so they feel completely comfortable working with our team.

What makes your team stand out from the others?

We believe in delivering a comprehensive and quality client service. And we are super-responsive to our client’s needs and in how we proactively reach out to them with solutions. That’s the value-add that we bring and what makes us stand out.

What is your greatest business success, or what you are most proud of?

I have my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Certification, which is considered the gold standard of the financial planning industry. Only 5% of people with this designation are under the age of 30.

What are the most important things someone should consider before working with a wealth advisor?

I think the most important thing is finding someone you can trust and is relatable. Your financial advisor should be someone you are absolutely comfortable working with – a trusted friend in a way. Someone who has your back and your wallet covered.

What is your favorite outside-of-work activity?

I love rock climbing. I now go to Central Rock Gym in Glastonbury four times a week. It’s great because when you are climbing on the wall, you are so zoned into what you are doing. It’s very meditative.

What’s the best way to start the day?

I like to wake up early and get right to work. Mornings are the most productive time of the day for me, with a cup of cold brew coffee in hand.
