What do you think C.I.G. Private Wealth Management can best help clients with?

We can best help them find a sense of financial security. We work hard to ensure that clients are educated on their financial investment options and have a sense of comfort and ease when working with their financial advisor.

What’s the biggest overall lesson you learned during your professional journey?

Communications skills are so important. And knowing how to communicate with all types of people – both personally and professionally – is key.

Do you have a favorite newspaper, magazine, columnist or blog that you follow?

I listen to Podcasts, and one that I really like is ‘The Armchair Expert,’ a podcast that celebrates the messiness of being human. I also enjoy listening to Oprah's ‘SuperSoul Conversations’. They’re interviews with thought-leaders, best-selling authors, spiritual luminaries, as well as health and wellness experts – all designed to guide you through life’s big questions and help bring you one step closer to your best self.

What is the last book you read, for personal and for business?

‘The Girl on a Dancing Horse’, by Charlotte Dujardin. It’s an autobiography about the most successful British dressage rider in the history of the sport and the winner of all major titles. Dujardin has been described as the dominant dressage rider of her era. She and her horse Valegro are best known for their record–breaking performance at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Be sure to find it on YouTube!

What is your favorite outside-of-work activity?

I love hanging out and having fun with my nine-year-old son Aiden, who loves to race go karts. I also love to ride my horse Lorelei, a warmblood mare. I am an active equestrian who has been riding for 25 years, since I was just four years old.

What’s the best way to start the day?

I love to kick off the day with a workout. Either running, some cardio or weightlifting in my basement gym. Then I’ll do some personal development reading.
