I started working in the financial industry in 2013. Prior to that, I was a paralegal for a solo attorney practice for 8 years. I decided at the time I wanted a change of pace and try something different. I have learned many new, interesting and exciting things during my time in the financial industry. I love that I learn something new every day. I enjoy helping people reach their goals in any way that I can.

I am married to my high school sweetheart. We have been married now for 12 years, and have been together for 23 years. We share a 17-year-old daughter who is entering her senior year of high school this year. We also have 3 pets; 2 dogs and a cat and we love them so very much, they are a part of our family. Mickey (13, dog), Zeus (9, dog) and Carl (4, cat). I spend a lot of my free time with my family. We enjoy doing things as a family. Going to the beach is one of our favorite things to do together. I also enjoy going to the gym daily for either a cycling class or HIIT workout. I feel my best when I have had a great workout to start my day!

What is your favorite outside-of-work activity?

I love to work out and go to the gym. I try to get a workout in every day. I also enjoy finding and trying new restaurants and food places with my husband. We are foodies and love to try new foods and find good places to eat. When I have time, I love to watch a good movie or binge a show that interest me.

What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives?

I do believe that we all have different paths and journeys in life to take so it’s hard for me to answer this. I believe that every one should live and do whatever makes them happy and brings them joy and isn’t harmful to anyone else. However, I do think that everyone should try/do at least one thing that makes them uncomfortable and challenges you. It builds a lot of character & confidence, in my opinion, to challenge yourself in ways you normally would not. And if you succeed, you will feel great about yourself. If you fail, you can always try again or at least say that you tried! Both are great learning experiences either way.

What would people be surprised to learn about you?

I’ve never been to the state of Florida! Anytime I share this about myself, I get very shocked and surprised responses, LOL, because “everyone’s been to Florida” -so I’ve heard but not me. Maybe one day!
